Background and Challenge

Mercatino is a digital marketplace where customers can explore food from around the world, and stores create their own profiles to present their products. They needed a completely new platform that combines user-friendliness with powerful functionality, but previously lacked a tailored solution that provided stores with freedom and customers with simplicity.

Solution

We began by mapping out the needs of both stores and customers to shape a solution that works for both. A new design was developed with intuitive UX/UI that allows stores to create unique profiles with their own style. The platform was custom-built with My Pages for customers to log in, manage orders, and explore the offerings easily. By prioritizing simplicity and flexibility, stores received tools to present their food in the best way. The result is a user-friendly digital marketplace that unites the world's flavors with powerful functionality and provides both customers and stores with a seamless experience.
