Is Shopify right for you?
Shopify is reliable, proven and takes care of hosting and security. But it isn't right for every store.
When Shopify is the right choice
When you want a modern online store with low technical risk, a quick launch and the ability to sell internationally. It's particularly well suited to B2C and growing e-commerce businesses.
When it isn't the right choice
When you need advanced custom logic, complex B2B workflows, extensive ERP integrations or full control over code and infrastructure. In those cases, Payload CMS or a bespoke Laravel solution is usually a better fit.
Can Shopify be customised?
Not without limits, as Shopify is a SaaS platform. But Liquid, custom apps and code give you plenty of flexibility, and we help you make the most of the platform.
Shopify or WooCommerce?
Choose Shopify when you want to get started quickly and let the platform handle hosting and security. Choose WooCommerce when you want full control, with your store and content together in WordPress.
Does Shopify cost money?
Yes. Shopify charges monthly fees and transaction fees unless you use Shopify Payments. In return, hosting, security and updates are included.
