Background and challenge

Telekområdgivarna plays an important role in providing free, impartial guidance to consumers on telecoms services, subscriptions and disputes. But its existing website had become outdated in both structure and design, making it difficult for visitors to find the right information quickly and cumbersome for the organisation to manage its content.

The challenge was that Telekområdgivarna had a large volume of varied content, while users often needed specific answers quickly. To create a better digital experience, we first needed to map the content and restructure it from the ground up. It was also important to build a new information architecture that took both user behaviour and search volumes into account, so the website would work equally well for visitors browsing its pages and those arriving through search.
