Telecom Advisors
Background and Challenge
Telecom Advisors play an important role by offering free and impartial guidance to consumers on issues related to telecom services, subscriptions, and disputes. However, the existing website had become outdated, both in structure and design, making it difficult for visitors to quickly find the right information and cumbersome for the organization to manage the content.
The challenge was that Telecom Advisors had a large amount of content of various types, while users' needs are often concrete and time-critical. To create a better digital experience, the content first needed to be mapped and restructured from the ground up. It was also important to build a new information architecture with both user behaviors and search volumes in mind, so that the site works equally well for those navigating through it as for those entering via search.
Solution
Pigment began the work with a thorough preliminary study where all content was mapped and analyzed to create a clear picture of Telecom Advisors' needs, structure, and future opportunities. Based on this, a new basic structure was developed with a clear SEO perspective, where both users' questions and relevant search behaviors guided how the content was organized and prioritized.
In parallel, a new design and a more easily managed solution were developed, making it easier for Telecom Advisors to work with their content over time. Since the search function is central for visitors to quickly find the right information, we also implemented a weighted search function, where Telecom Advisors themselves can control which hits should be prioritized for different searches. The result is a modern, more user-friendly, and strategically built platform in WordPress that makes it easier for visitors to find the right information – and for Telecom Advisors to meet needs in a clear, relevant, and efficient way.
