Young Innovators – Innovation in Schools Digitalized
Background and Challenge
Young Innovators is a non-profit school actor with 40 years of experience in school innovation. They needed a new platform that supports teachers in sharing challenges and exercises with students, as well as managing conditional content for different age groups, but the old site lacked adaptability and a modern user experience.
Solution
We began by mapping the needs of teachers and students to understand how the platform should support teaching. Then a new design was developed based on their graphic profile, focusing on simplicity and inspiration. The site was built responsive with a teacher portal behind login where content is displayed conditionally for high school and middle school, as well as integration for sharing to Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams. By prioritizing mobile view and easy-to-navigate user journey, the platform became an effective tool. The result is a modern, adaptable site that facilitates the digitalization of innovation in schools and helps teachers engage students easily.
