Stockholmsmässan

Background and Challenge

Stockholmsmässan is the Nordic region's leading meeting place for fairs, conferences, and events. As Sweden's largest exhibition and congress center, it annually organizes hundreds of events that inspire, create business, and contribute knowledge.

In 2024, Stockholmsmässan launched a new graphic profile and needed a website that fully reflected the new, more colorful and energetic identity. The old structure made it difficult for visitors and organizers to quickly find the right fair or information.

Solution

Based on Stockholmsmässan's new graphic profile, we developed a scalable design system for their entire digital ecosystem, not just for a single website, but for a large number of fairs with different target groups, content, and expressions. The focus was on creating a flexible design foundation that can support the entire brand, while allowing each fair to communicate its own identity.

Through wireframes, a new sitemap, and a well-developed component library, we developed a structure where content, navigation, and visual elements interact in a clear and consistent way. The result was a design system that enhances recognition, simplifies editorial work, and creates a more cohesive user experience across Stockholmsmässan's offerings.
